Gramercy is developing The Loop, a community that will span an entire city block in South Surrey. This collection of two, three, and four-bedroom townhomes centers around the Loop trail, where residents can enjoy various outdoor activities.
Community Concept and Inspiration
The Loop’s design revolves around a mature forested area. Livabl interviewed Jordyne Toor, project manager at Fifth Avenue Real Estate Marketing, and Michelle Des Rosiers, senior vice president of project operations, to discuss The Loop‘s unique appeal. They explained that the name “The Loop” was inspired by the central activity loop that repeats throughout the site. This area will feature large growth trees, creating a lush, canopy-filled setting.
Amenities and Social Spaces
The activity loop connects to The Hideaway, a two-storey amenity building designed for socialization and community events. It includes two lounges: an upper lounge with a patio and a lower lounge. The outdoor patio is accessible from outside the building, enhancing its usability. Additionally, a dog wash with hot water and proper drainage will be available outside The Hideaway.
Outdoor Features and Fitness Facilities
As you navigate the activity loop, you’ll find a fire pit, a natural play area, seating, and Scandinavian-style workout equipment from Sweden. The minimalist equipment features QR codes for accessing exercise instructions on smartphones. The interconnected trails are perfect for walking dogs, jogging, or taking kids out, providing a great family space.
These trails also lead to The Locker, the second amenity space. This fitness facility includes cardiovascular equipment, yoga areas, and stretching spaces. The development includes landscaped zones designed to offer privacy for the homes, embodying the motto, “Your park, your way.”
