Royale Properties’ project offers generous spaces, Impressive layouts
One of the great comforts of a home purchase for families – in addition to proximity of services and high quality of the home itself — is being in a place where children can live and play safely.
That is one of the many benefits of Royale Properties’ latest development, Gabriola Park, a collection of three- and four-bedroom B.C. cottage-inspired town-homes bordering Yorkson Park in Langley and a protected creek.
As can be expected from Royale (which was responsible for the sold-out Parkside, Nature’s Walk, and Outlook townhome developments in Langley), Gabriola Park is loaded with special features, starting with the dimensions of each home. “They range in size from 1,408 to 2,214 square feet, which is notable considering the biggest townhouses in the region average be-tween 1,500 and 1,600 square feet,” says Jamie Squires, vice-president of Fifth Ave Real Estate Marketing Ltd.
The homes also have nine-foot ceilings complemented by large windows and gorgeous open layouts. Special highlights include spa-inspired master ensuites and baths for serious relaxing, as well as open-concept kitchens with contemporary pendant lighting and quartz counters that provide a functional space to cook or entertain.
Gabriola Park’s design is reminiscent of a gated community with a cottage country ambiance: when all 153 units are completed, homes on the south end will be grouped around a lush courtyard, including a play area and even a blueberry maze for the little ones. The development is adjacent to the protected Yorkson Creek, a natural green belt and the future Yorkson Park. Two private entries will give residents easy access to the property.
As its location suggests, Gabriola Park effectively addresses families’ need for security. “Instead of being located on the busy Langley thoroughfares of 200th and 208th streets, it is in between the two, nestled between another series of townhomes and a park – which is why children could play here safely, while supervised,” says Squires. “However, Gabriola Park is still only minutes away from Langley’s down-town core and a brief walk to the new Willoughby Town Centre.”
Squires is referring to the bustling hub of diverse quality residences, commercial space, retail outlets, pedestrian plazas and winding walkways that give this region of Langley a uniquely modern appearance, while retaining all the appeal of a classic town square. Close proximity to Willoughby Elementary School completes Gabriola Park’s attraction as the newest addition to a vibrant family-friendly neighbourhood.
Would-be buyers take note: Oct. 29 is a significant date for Gabriola Park, since that’s when two designer show homes will be unveiled for public viewing at an event featuring Halloween activities for kids and lunch for all. But Squires urges those who are interested in Gabriola Park to act before then: “If you purchase a home before the event, you will qualify for a pre-show home incentive.”
The Presentation Centre at 20498 82 Avenue, Langley is open daily from noon to 5 p.m. and is closed on Fridays. For more information, visit www.gabriolapark.com, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 604-371-1892.
